11 Nov Fantastic Progress!
Dear Parents,
Another week has past and I am genuinely so pleased with all the progress the children are making and the effort that goes into their work.
In English, we completed a reading comprehension to ensure the children understood the parts of the story.
In Math’s we have been learning about money and working out the value of each coin and pounds, to then actually finding the total.
PSHE we spoke about all the things we do that are healthy.
In History we have spoke about Bonfire night and Guy Fawkes thinking about whether he was a villain or a hero.
Science we went over materials and their properties.
Please, can some of you bring your books back. A lot of the same children are not returning their books. I have made a list and will start chasing you if they are not brought back, as I cannot give new ones if old ones are not returned.
Also if the you could all practice your lines for the play, a massive well done to; Rachel, Nevine, Harper, Raphaela, Emi, Jana and Alice. They all tried super hard with rehearsal!
A huge well done to Andrii as our star of the week! He has made such fabulous progress with his spoken language and understanding of English. It is so wonderful for see how far he has come in such a short time.
Information for next week:
– Monday 9:30 St Mary’s church service for our remembrance service.
– Monday also going to the library, so please bring back any old books.
– Tuesday 15th odd socks day for anti-bullying week.
