06 Apr Showing Thanks for Animals of Every Kind
Learn Together…
#LiveLent: Care for God’s Creation is the Church of England’s Lent Campaign for 2020
And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures of every kind…” And God saw that it was good.
We are bombarded with frightening news at the moment but even during this worrying time there are things that we can thank God for.
This prayer/reflection activity is to help us to look around and notice the good things that are around us. It is linked to birds and flowers because they are signs of spring and they also link into Jesus’ words about God’s care in Matthew 6: 26-34.
Let’s Sing Together…
Pray Together…
Say together our School Prayer:
Share the Lord’s Prayer together:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.
Amen.
