17 Jul St. Mary’s Vision Story Day
We had over 120 families joined us on Thursday as we celebrated our St Mary’s Vision Story with our whole school ‘live promenade’ of drama, singing, artwork, story telling and street dancing. Children performed absolutely brilliantly, as well as showing the St Mary’s Way throughout the school community event. This is the first time at St Mary’s that we have worked with our community partners, The Little Angel Theatre and Kick London (street dancing), to provide a whole school performance of this magnitude. We are very proud of our children – Great job children!
We were so happy that many of the parents were able to join the school as we shared our St Mary’s vision story, their feedback had been super showing the gratitude of many and how clear the story was.
This is a project that started a year ago, as we started the development of the St Mary’s Vision story. As a school team, we have all worked together with our children and governors to create the story to show our values in action, and then to bring it to life through our partnership with the Little Angel Theatre and Kick London. We say a MASSIVE thank you to our AWESOME school staff team who have been absolutely MAGNIFICENT in working with our children and community partners and to Mr Venn for his leadership in overseeing the project.
The huge efforts and hard work of our staff team and school leaders has truly gone above and beyond, as many of the parents shared. Thank you to all who supported Thursday’s event and to our awesome staff and children of St Mary’s.
